Fix lỗi “Device eth0 does not seem to be present, delaying initialization”

Hôm nay mình gặp trường hợp làm dịch vụ cho một bạn, hỗ trợ backup toàn bộ dữ liệu trên VPS.

Server này không thể kết nối được SSH, chỉ kết nối được qua cửa sổ Console, không ping ra được bên ngoài.

Kiểm tra network

ifconfig

Không thể start eth0:

ifup eth0
Device eth0 does not seem to be present, delaying initialisation

Để giải quyết vấn đề, mình đã xóa các rule của networking interface, và khởi động lại server để hệ thống generate lại rule mới.

rm /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules
reboot

Restart lại service network

service network restart

    Mình bị lỗi này và thực hiện theo các bước như hướng dẫn vẫn không được, không lỗi chỗ nào nữa, nhờ giúp đỡ

      Bạn không thể connect SSH? Bạn chạy lần lượt các lệnh kết quả ntn?

          Ok bạn. Noted
          delete /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rule
          reboot
          change mac address in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
          generate new UUID for eth0
          change UUID of eth0 in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
          restart network service
